Carrying memory (SD) cards

A cheap and easy way to carry SD memory cards is a film canister. A canister can take 8 cards (9 tightly fit). When a card is full, I lock it and put it under the pile. I also number them with a sharpie so I don't have to verify each of them in camera in case I unlock them by mistake. Canisters are also handy for spices and small parts like chain links, nuts and bolts. B&H sells them in packs of 5 and packs of 25. Your local photo store might have them for free.

Bad bike lanes

Cycling infrastructures are often made to isolate and "protect" cyclists from motorized traffic, creating other problems. Below, a simple rumble strips doesn't protect anyone from anything, while making sure the dirt stays in the bike lane. A little further, the same road has a shoulder without without a rumble strip and is clean and as smooth as a billard table.
